SELECTED WORKS
Spurred by a desire to interrupt the shared-program festival format, "Terra Incognita, Revisited" (2011) sought to achieve new ways for choreographers to come together to develop and explore ideas, create joint work, and cultivate meaningful dialogue about dance making and performance. Responding to each others’ motivations, aesthetic concerns, and movement sensibilities, this project reflects the depth and richness of collaboration and its potential to move artists’ into unfamiliar territories that evoke new perspectives, as well as redefine traditional approaches in the creative process.
